Hello,
I am an artist working in the animation industry, currently living in Vancouver.
I'm currently working as a Matte Painter. I've also worked on all aspects of preproduction, such as props and environment design, colorscripts, concept art, character designing and story-boarding.
In my free time, I've enjoyed working on illustrations for children books.
I studied 3 years at Mopa, CG Animation School (France), finishing the first cycle.
Ever since childhood, my passion has always been for drawing and story telling. I grew up in a bilingual family of artists, surrounded by illustrated books, paintings and French comic books, and soon knew I wanted to make art my career.
During my teenage years, I have illustrated children books, worked on art commissions and various designing projects...
In my art I want to tell a story and engender emotions in the viewer. I'm particularly interested in color and lighting, how such can affect the viewer's emotions, how to put focus on a character or action, and how it can create a compelling composition.
In my spare time I mainly enjoy walks, watching movies, cycle rides, sketching, playing video games, and cooking.
